SNOW IN DEALEY PLAZA,
DALLAS, TEXAS

Excerpt from the Dallas Morning News
(February 12, 2010):

"North Texas went to bed Wednesday night expecting a mix of rain and snow the next day, with possible accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Instead, we got the Snowstorm of the Century, an official 12.5 inches at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. It not only broke three records, it smashed them to bits, becoming the heaviest snowfall for the date, the heaviest single-day snowfall and the heaviest snowfall in a 24-hour period."
